Summer Run League 2026

Join us for a six-week series of 5 km races on Zwift designed to bring a little friendly competition to the Run in the Park community.

Each week features a flat and fast 5 km event, with points awarded based on your finishing position within your group. Your best 5 results from the 6-week series will count towards the final standings.

  • Group A – under 22:20 (faster than 4:29 min/km)
  • Group B – 22:21 to 25:00 (4:29 to 5:00 min/km)
  • Group C – 25:01 to 28:51 (5:00 to 5:46 min/km)
  • Group D – 28:52 and over (5:46 min/km or slower)

To be included in the official standings you must be registered with ZwiftPower, opted in to results, and record heart rate data. For consistency and fairness, all league runs should be completed with the treadmill set to 0% incline.

The Summer League combines the excitement of racing with the friendly and supportive atmosphere that makes Run in the Park such a special community.

Run in the Park Saturday

Come and join the original Zwift group run — a welcoming 5 km mass start event held six times every Saturday, starting at 08:15 BST and then every three hours throughout the day.

Open to runners of all abilities, from recreational joggers to elite athletes. Arrive at the start gates a little early to chat with fellow runners and perhaps find someone of a similar pace to run with.

There is no time limit, so simply run at your own pace and enjoy the course.

Run in the Park 5km's

Join us for a structured 5 km progressive workout designed to help you improve your pacing, build speed and enjoy running together.

Each group targets a specific 5 km finish time, with the pace increasing each kilometre before finishing with a fast 400 m free run to the line. Warm-up and cooldown segments are included, and the event concludes with a relaxed 10-minute post-run chat.

  • Group A – 20 minute 5 km (6.0 km total)
  • Group B – 25 minute 5 km (6.0 km total)
  • Group C – 30 minute 5 km (6.0 km total)
  • Group D – 35 minute 5 km (5.6 km total)
  • Group E – 40 minute 5 km (5.4 km total)

Choose the group based on the 5 km time you would like to target. This is a workout event rather than a race, making it ideal for improving your 5 km speed, practising pacing discipline and enjoying a structured session with friends.
